Atletico Madrid have already parted ways with three centre-backs in the first few weeks of the summer transfer window: Mario Hermoso, Gabriel Paulista and Caglar Soyuncu. It’s expected that a fourth will also soon be heading to the exit door, that being Stefan Savic.
Atleti will allow Savic to end his nine-year stay if he receives an acceptable contract offer. So far, none have been forthcoming, which is why he returned to the club on Wednesday for pre-season training. However, as was the case with Saul Niguez last week, it could be only one session that he partakes in.
That’s because Trabzonspor have offered Savic a three-year contract, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. He must now consider his options, and a decision is likely to be made in the next 24 hours.
JUST IN: Trabzonspor have sent official contract proposal to Stefan Savić, who is considering this possibility and expected to decide soon.
Tomorrow can be a crucial day and Atlético Madrid are prepared to let him leave in case he wants.

Atletico Madrid have already moved on from Savic, and his replacement will be Robin Le Normand, whose arrival from Real Sociedad is set to be finalised in the coming days. Savic’s departure will help free up much-needed salary space, as more signings are expected at the Civitas Metropolitano.
