Having lost hope that Nico Williams will be joining this summer, Barcelona have turned their full attention towards Dani Olmo in the last few days. RB Leipzig have already turned down two offers from the Catalans, although a deal is far from dead – on the contrary, one could even be agreed upon by the end of the week.

MD have reported that Olmo, alongside his agents, will hold crunch talks with Leipzig on Tuesday. Barcelona sporting director Deco will also be present, as all parties work towards a favourable outcome.
It’s no secret that Olmo would welcome a return to Barcelona. Last week, he agreed personal terms, meaning that a fee agreement with Leipzig is the only thing standing in the way of a deal being completed.
It promises to be a very big few days for Barcelona. Not only could they take a big step forward in their bid to sign Olmo, but they could also receive a positive response from Williams – the Athletic Club winger is expected to communicate whether or not he will leave Bilbao this summer.
