Barcelona are not on the hunt for a forward currently, but with Robert Lewandowski to turn 36 in a month’s time, they are no doubt conscious that they will need to move for one in the near future.
All of their focus appears to be on bringing in a winger, namely Nico Williams or Dani Olmo, and then a central midfielder this summer, but already the Blaugrana are looking at what might come after Lewandowski. One of the names that Barcelona are tracking is Sporting CP number nine Viktor Gyokeres.

As per Sport, they hold the Swedish striker in very high regard, and have been to watch him on several occasions in person. His form, after 43 goals and 15 assists, has impressed them, as well as the versatility of his skillset.
Artem Dovbyk was and is Diego Simeone’s favorite to replace Álvaro Morata at Atlético Madrid. The deal is close to being finalized.

Other reports linking him to the Premier League have quoted potential fees for Gyokeres closer to the €100m mark, than his reported €65m value, and if that is the case, Barcelona will have to start saving for a deal now. Atletico Madrid have also been linked with Gyokeres in recent months, but his price tag has so far proven prohibitive for them. Of course there is no suggestion they would or are going for him, but he certainly fits the bill as a complete number nine option.
