The 2024/25 Bundesliga season kicks off on 23 August, with Borussia Mönchengladbach vs. Bayer Leverkusen opening the new fixture list. For most teams, their first competitive fixture will be the DFB Cup first round on 16-19 August. Champions Bayer Leverkusen and runners-up VfB Stuttgart will contest the 2024 Supercup that weekend.
