Celtic fans: Bosun Lawal to agree deal after source's reveal

Celtic fans are expecting Bosun Lawal to leave the club this summer after what Brendan Rodgers said about their academy talents.

Rodgers recently spoke about the players’ chances of first-team involvement at Parkhead as he explained: “They need to be at a much higher level. If you’re going to play for Celtic, you have to be.”

Football Insider exclusively revealed on 17 July that both Stoke City and Bournemouth have expressed their interest, while RB Salzburg are also monitoring his situation.

Lawal spent last season on loan in EFL League One, making 47 appearances in which he scored six goals and provided two assists from midfield.

His impressive displays have attracted attention from England and the rest of Europe amid uncertainty over where his future rests.

Fans now think the club could cash in given the lack of a clear pathway into the first team, with Rodgers’ quotes only pointing to an exit.

One went as far as to say Lawal should leave “ASAP” while others continued criticisms of the manager.

The best thing for Lawal's development is the get out of Celtic ASAP, it's too damaging for Celtic and their fans ego to say they have a player playing for them that played for Fleetwood last year.
