Chelsea fans rage at 'disgusting' Man United star as Cole Palmer news confirmed

Chelsea supporters are raging at Man United’s Lisandro Martinez for his “disgusting” tackle on Cole Palmer this past Sunday (4 November), which has left the 22-year-old injured.

During his pre-match press conference, Enzo Maresca confirmed that the England international is currently injured and a doubt for Sunday’s match against Arsenal.

The Chelsea boss said, “Cole Palmer was not able to train yesterday; he was not fit. We hope to have him back against Arsenal, we will assess him.”

The attacking midfielder was caught by Martinez in a controversial foul that fans and pundits such as Gary Neville felt warranted a red card after it was reviewed by VAR.

The United defender caught Palmer at knee height with his foul, but the decision was ultimately made that it was only a yellow card.

Palmer managed to finish the game at Old Trafford, but the impact is now being felt as he hasn’t trained this week as the club prepares for a derby fixture this weekend.
