Chris Jack shares if Rangers have sacked Philippe Clement

Philippe Clement remains in his post as Rangers boss despite rumours that he has been sacked, according to Chris Jack.

The Gers sit third in the Scottish Premiership after the 1-1 draw with Dundee United on 24 November, trailing leaders Celtic by 11 points and Aberdeen by eight.

The Belgian manager has been under heavy pressure but Jack states on the Rangers Review that Whatsapp messages suggesting that he has left Ibrox are wide of the mark.

Clement remains in charge of Rangers but for how long?

Clement will remain in charge at Rangers but it seems like a matter of time before he departs the Ibrox dugout.

The Gers have won five of their last 10 matches in all competitions and were booed off the pitch after the draw with Dundee United yesterday.

With big changes coming at boardroom level, with Patrick Stewart set to become CEO and Malcolm Offard set to take over as chairman, it could spell the end of Clement’s disastrous spell.

As the Gers head into a new era off the pitch, the idea of Clement leading them into it on the pitch seems very unlikely.

The Bears’ next three games are a Europa League contest with Nice before two Scottish Premiership matches against St. Johnstone and Kilmarnock, they may well decide his future or could just delay the inevitable.

It may cost the Light Blues a fortune to dismiss the Belgian but most supporters and observers would consider it as money well spent considering the atmosphere around the club at the moment.
