We’re very much into the festive period in the Premier League, and that’s starting to show with the weather.
Indeed, a number of games in the EFL are in danger of being called off due to the snow and ice that has formed this week, but it’s business as usual for the Premier League as most clubs utilise undersoil heating systems.
However, as good as the surfaces may be, playing football when it’s this cold is never comfortable.
That said, some players do thrive on this sort of thing.
Kieran Tierney was loved by Arsenal fans because he’d often train in the snow in just a T-shirt, and now, Jayden Danns has done the same at Liverpool, much to the surprise of his teammates.
Ryan Gravenberch and Ibrahima Konate stunned by Jayden Danns
As seen in a video posted by Liverpool on TikTok, Ryan Gravenberch and Ibrahima Konate were stunned by Danns’ approach to training this week.
While most other Liverpool players were wrapped up wearing multiple layers, gloves and hats, Danns wore his summer attire for training this week, leaving Konate and Gravenberch stunned.
“Hey Jayden. Tell me you wil not go and train like that. Tell me you will not train like that,” Konate said.
“Bro you’re crazy. Bro, he’s going outside like this?” Gravenberch added.
How highly is Jayden Danns rated?
Jayden Danns has made a bit of an impression on the Liverpool team with his brave approach to cold weather training here, but that’s not the only way Danns has impressed.
Indeed, Danns is very highly rated behind the scenes at Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp was a big fan of Danns when he was at the club, while Gary Lineker has praised Danns in the past.
This young man appears to have bags of potential, and at the age of just 18, he has tons of time on his side as he looks to break into the first-team.
Liverpool’s academy has produced a number of top talents in recent years, and Danns could well be the next one off the production line at Anfield.
