Domagoj Bradaric is unlikely to have any issues with his Rangers medical despite an injury towards the back end of last season, according to Dr Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert claims that the 24-year-old Salernitana left-back looks to have recovered well from the setback and has already played first-team football this term.
Gers are keen on bringing in a new left-back before the transfer deadline and will have to shell out £1.7million to secure the services of the Croatia international. [Il Mattino, 21 August]
Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said:
“He had an injury towards the back end of last season and it came at the right time as it did not cause him to miss too many games.
“Looks like he has recovered relatively well so wouldn’t expect that injury to cause issues with his medical.
“At 24, with decent experience in top European leagues, his adaptation would not take that long either.“
Rangers may not priortise Domagoj Bradaric if Philippe Clements wants to strengthen elsewhere
It makes sense for Gers to sign a new left-back before the transfer deadline if they’re not signing a left winger as Jefte has excelled in a more advanced role.
To add to that, Ridvan Yilmaz’s fitness has been questionable since the start of 2024 and having quality replacements would make a huge difference.
However, funds are limited and it may come down to what Philippe Clement prioritises as there are other areas of the team that need to be strengthened as well.
In other Rangers news, a major development has emerged as Gers have submitted a loan-to-buy bid to sign a new first-team player.
