The hulking striker grabbed the ball from the back of the net, looking like he was going to run back to the centre-half for a quick kick-off, but that was not his intention.
Instead he threw the ball into the back of Gabriel’s head, who was facing the other way with his shirt over his face as he was clearly devastated by the goal.
It was a naughty move from Haaland, but clearly it wasn’t spotted by the officials because the Norwegian as he wasn’t punished for it.

Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and substitutes Gabriel Jesus and Myles Lewis-Skelly were all booked for Arsenal, while Ederson, Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva were all shown yellows for City.
Manchester Untied legend Roy Keane said of the spicy nature of the game on Sky Sports: ‘It’s nice to see a bit of needle, isn’t it. You need that bit of needle, because City know Arsenal are trying to hunt them down. A bit of needle, I love to see it. Love it.’
