Everton takeover development emerges as Farhad Moshiri receives new bid - report

John Textor has made a bid to complete the takeover of Everton after returning to the fray, according to the Guardian.

The newspaper claimed via its website on 9 August that the terms are understood to be the same as when he last made an offer on 1 June.

If the bid is accepted by Moshiri, the American billionaire will be the third party to enter a period of exclusivity with Blue Heaven Holdings, the company that owns the Toffees.

However, there are counterclaims that things might not be as advanced as expected.
