Everton may decide to part ways with Sean Dyche after their wretched start to the 2024/25 campaign on the back of a positive end to last season.

The Toffees have lost each of their four Premier League games and are rooted to the bottom of the table.

They have also been knocked out of the EFL Cup after an abject performance and questions are being asked of the man in charge of the first team.

If Dyche cannot even get a point against one of the worst teams in the league, there is little hope that he can manage to guide the club to the finishing line.

New signings like Jake O’Brien, Orel Mangala and Jesper Lindstrom continue to be underutilised with the manager opting for his favourites.

Fans will respect the Englishman for what he’s done but even they know when a manager has run his course at Goodison Park.

The feeling is that Dyche has taken the club as far as he could and the time for change is now or there could be dire consequences.

Everton will be a less desirable asset in terms of the takeover should they get relegated and this is something the decision-makers will be aware of and will want to avoid.
