Liverpool have not made any new signing but they could be about to lose another player.
The Reds have already lost a number of players this summer including Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara and Adrian.
Now another player could depart Anfield this summer with his future uncertain at the moment.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the interest of Leicester City in the services of Fabio Carvalho and Southampton are also keeping an eye on the player.
Even after being one of Liverpool’s positives from their preseason tour of the United States, in which Carvalho scored goals against Arsenal and Manchester United, he is expected to leave the club this summer for more playing time.
According to Lewis Steele of the Daily Mail, the Reds are set to let the player leave the club this summer as there is too much competition for starting places in the team.
The journalist reported on his X account:
“Suspect he will end up going due to options ahead of him as Slot has told him he is a left winger. Had a very good tour and will be a shrewd signing for someone.”

Fabio Carvalho is nowhere near the Liverpool starting line up
The Reds have already turned down a £15m bid from Southampton for the former Fulham player.
Liverpool are doing the right thing by deciding to cash in on the player because he is too far down the pecking order.
The right-wing spot is occupied by Mohamed Salah and the left wing position has too many options.
The likes of Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota can all play there, making it too difficult for someone like Carvalho to make his place in the team.
Leicester and Southampton are both interested in signing the player this summer and the more interest increases in his services, the more money Liverpool can get for him.
