Inter Milan could push to sign Everton player in January - report

Beto could leave Everton for Inter Milan in the upcoming transfer window, according to Spazio Inter.

Torino were interested in the Guinean but have switched focus to Marko Arnautovic, which could lead the Nerazzurri to sign him as a main alternative in their squad.

Simone Inzaghi’s team could turn to the 26-year-old to reinforce their attack in January, although Goodison News understands Beto is part of Sean Dyche’s plans as things stand.

Beto has struggled for minutes at Goodison Park this season, starting just one Premier League game.

Despite limited success, Dyche has relied heavily on Dominic Calvert-Lewin this season.

While the Englishman has been missing his shooting boots, the 53-year-old head coach seems to have complete faith in him.

Armando Broja is another number nine at Dyche’s disposal, and the Albanian’s recent return from injury has provided the Blues another option up front.

While Everton could do with keeping Beto in January to maintain depth in case of fitness issues, the Guinea-Bissau international will surely want to move for regular game time.

It’s unsurprising to see Dyche not take any risks with his team selection, with the Toffees fighting a relegation battle.

Since his move to Goodison in the summer of 2023, the former Udinese target man has not lived up to expectations, and only time will tell whether his future lies elsewhere.

Beto’s departure could be a win-win situation for both parties, as the Merseyside outfit would get his wages off their books and receive a transfer fee in case of a permanent deal.
