Jamie Carragher says he spotted something unusual about Arne Slot in Liverpool's win vs Chelsea
????
Liverpool maintained their spot at the top of the Premier League table after defeating Chelsea 2-1 at Anfield.
Liverpool had to show a different side to their game as Chelsea dominated possession but ultimately it was their experience that got them over the line.
Mohamed Salah netted the opener from the spot before Curtis Jones found the winning goal shortly after the half-time interval.
Gary Neville was really impressed by Jones’ performance and even awarded the 23-year-old the Man of the Match award.
Sunday’s win also saw Arne Slot do something for the first time since joining Liverpool.

Jamie Carragher noticed Arne Slot getting emotional on the touchline
Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Carragher noticed that Arne Slot got involved in the Anfield Atmosphere for the first time since joining.
“Slot is not as emotional as Klopp, but he got wrapped up in the game today,” Carragher said.
“It was the first Anfield atmosphere he’s been involved in. When Liverpool were under the cosh, you could see his reaction when Darwin Nunez got a foul given against him, you could see he showed elements of Jurgen Klopp – but he is a different manager.
“I think what the supporters are enjoying is that he is being himself. He is not trying to play up to being someone else.”
Daniel Sturridge says Liverpool players have bought into Arne Slot’s personality
Sturridge added that the players have clearly bought into Slot’s personality and that his relaxed approach has worked just as well as Jurgen Klopp’s more high-energy persona.
“The players are buying into the manager and his personality,” Sturridge said.
“They know the demands are different compared to Jurgen Klopp both on and off the pitch. He is demanding but everyone knows just how demanding Jurgen was, so it’s refreshing.
“The players can feel more relaxed from being at home the day before the game. The players are performing under him so whatever he’s doing behind the scenes is working.”
Liverpool’s next five fixtures are incredibly tough, so it makes today’s win vitally important if they’re to have any aspirations of winning the Premier League title.
An away trip to Arsenal is up next, in what could turn out to be a season-defining game in many ways.
