Moussa Dembele mocks Rangers in 'waste of time' verdict after Celtic defeat

Former Celtic forward Moussa Dembele mocked Rangers after their 3-0 defeat in the Old Firm derby on Sunday [1 September].

The Gers put up little resistance at Celtic Park as goals from Daizen Maeda, Kyogo Furuhashi and Callum McGregor capped off a resounding victory for Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Dembele, who notched seven goals and four assists in 10 appearances against Rangers during his three-year stint in Glasgow, couldn’t help twisting the knife on his X account [1 September] after the result.

He said: “Why are we still playing them…?? Waste of time – But enjoying to see them crash again and again.”
