West Ham fans took to social media to voice their frustrations after it was reported Niclas Fullkrug’s injury is ‘worse than initially expected’.
According to ExWHUEmployee, the club are ‘concerned’ about the 31-year-old’s fitness after he picked up an Achilles injury while on international duty.
It’s reported that West Ham initially expected the striker to return to action following October’s international break and be fit to face Tottenham on Saturday (October 19).
The striker is yet to score a goal for the club since making the £27million move from German giants Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window.
With only 63 Premier League minutes under his belt, Fullkrug’s only start for the club came in their 1-0 League Cup victory over Bournemouth earlier in the season.

Fans took to X, formally known as Twitter, to express their annoyance that they have seemingly signed yet another striker who can’t cut it at the club.
