Manchester City and Arsenal played out an entertaining 2-2 draw yesterday with plenty of talking points and Chris Sutton has picked out another Man City player for criticism.
The game was packed with incident and at the end of the game, there was an element of a sour taste being left in the mouths of both sets of players and coaches.
Of course, the big talking point was Leandro Trossard’s red card.
Sutton has had his say on that incident, while Sutton also suggested he could see why Jeremy Doku wasn’t given a second yellow as well.
Sutton was also not happy with John Stones for blaming Arsenal for the type of game it ended up being.
However, it wasn’t just Stones who caught Sutton’s eye, as the former Celtic striker also took a pot shot at goalkeeper Ederson for failing to deal with set-pieces.
Chris Sutton says Ederson has to be better for Manchester City
Speaking on the latest episode of the It’s All Kicking Off podcast, Sutton suggested Manchester City should stop complaining about Arsenal’s way of attacking set-pieces.
“The Arsenal players are within their right to move where they like. It’s up to Manchester City to find a way around it,” Sutton said.
“There were not obvious blocks holding, grappling. There was none of that. It is very, very cute, very, very clever the way they do that.
“But there’s no divine right for Ederson to have a free path to come and claim that. It’s interesting, isn’t it.
“Because Ederson, last week, there was a lot of people who filleted Vicario – who does have a problem.”
Arsenal exploit Ederson
Ederson has been one of the top goalkeepers in the Premier League for some time now but it seems Arsenal did indeed target him.
In the end, it did pay off, and as Sutton says, he has to be better and figure it out more.

For Arsenal, it was just another day at the office and as we’ve seen time and again, their set-pieces are simply brilliant.
Most goalkeepers will fall foul to them at some point. The big question will be if they keep getting away with it or referees start to step in.
