Omar Marmoush named Bundesliga's Player of the Month for September 2024!
Eintracht Frankfurt striker Omar Marmoush beat Maximilian Mittelstädt, Michael Olise, Vincenzo Grifo, Harry Kane and Florian Wirtz to September's Bundesliga Player of the Month award, after some scintillating performances.
The Player of the Month award was created by the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga in 2018/19, in cooperation with the Bundesliga's official licensing partner, EA Sports.
The award is decided through a two-stage selection process that considers both the players' individual performance data and a vote by fans and experts.
This month, the selections were made based on performances from Matchdays 3, 4 and 5, with Marmoush edging out the competition.

A glimpse at the Bundesliga top scorer charts may come as a surprise to many, as for once Harry Kane isn’t top. Instead, it’s Eintracht Frankfurt’s 25-year-old Egyptian talent Marmoush, who is the club’s first player to score six goals in the opening five matchdays.
After a fine start the forward took things up another level in September, including a two-goal haul against former side Wolfsburg. A goal against Borussia Mönchengladbach followed, and then against Holstein Kiel he had a hand in all four strikes in a 4-2 win, with his two assists taking him to nine goal contributions, the joint-most in the league.
