Rangers could meet demands for new loan transfer in next offer - report

Rangers could meet the loan conditions that Sevilla have set out for Joan Jordan in their next bid, according to Que Deportes.

The Spanish outlet reported on 17 July that the Spaniards could accept an offer where the Bears would only pay 50 per cent of his wages.

The report also states that Jordan has finally accepted the fact that his future no longer lies with Sevilla after Sporting Director Victor Orta’s recent comments on him.

Rangers should meet Joan Jordan demands from Sevilla

Rangers have undergone plenty of change so far and even more moves are expected to be made throughout the transfer window.

Many players have been brought in but the vast majority of them lack experience due to their age. Hence, why an initial bid was made by the Gers [Fabrizio Romano, 13 July] for Jordan ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season.

It’s evident that during this transfer window, Philippe Clement has had one eye on the future as he looks to build a team for years to come, especially with additions such as Hamza Igamane [Daily Record, 7 July].

Granted, among those brought in players such as Connor Barron and even Jefte can slot straight into the first-team fold and provide Rangers with extra options.

However, despite youth being a key part of any football team, a decent amount of experience is needed within squads to guide those younger to do the correct things.

Jordan is a serial winner and has won two Europa League’s with Sevilla. His addition would not only help solidify the Gers’ midfield but would also give Barron someone to be his mentor and craft him into an even better player.
