Rangers fans believe that the club will pull off a “massive coup” by finalising Graham Potter deal.

Football Insider revealed that Poter has been tipped to take on the job should the Scottish giants choose to part ways with Philippe Clement.

The 50-year-old boss is under pressure at Ibrox after a difficult start to the season with the club failing to qualify for the Champions League, while they currently sit third in the Scottish Premiership.

Football Insider confirmed that Clement is just one defeat away from being sacked by the Rangers hierarchy, which would facilitate the need for a fresh face to take his place.

The Gers defeated St Mirren 2-1 this past weekend, but the club remains six points behind both Aberdeen and Celtic.

Clement is under contract at Ibrox until 2028, but the Scottish giants could consider cutting ties with him earlier if performances and results don’t improve.

Potter has been out of work since he was sacked by Chelsea in April 2023, but he has been doing the media rounds recently to put his name back in the mix.

Supporters have claimed the former Brighton boss would be a “dream appointment” but have also admitted it could be tough to strike a deal with him.
