Having signed Jude Bellingham in the summer of 2023, Real Madrid have been linked with a move for his younger brother Jobe over the last 12 months. However, as it turns out, the 19-year-old midfielder isn’t the only Sunderland player that Los Blancos have their eye on.
According to CaughtOffside, Real Madrid are one of the several clubs that have taken an interest in Chris Rigg, who has established himself as a key player for the English side despite only being 17 years of age. The likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are also believed to be keen on the young midfielder.
As per the report, Sunderland would not consider selling Rigg until next summer – when that time comes, they would be prepared to part ways with the talented teenager for a fee of €30m.
Real Madrid have seriously targeted the English market in the last couple of years, as they also look to add Trent Alexander-Arnold to their squad next summer. Rigg could be a very solid pickup, and his valuation is certainly affordable.
