Liverpool are yet to get their summer transfer window off the mark but Arne Slot is now in the building with a new dawn set to get underway.
Jurgen Klopp‘s time at Anfield is now in the past and the players will now be getting accustomed to the ways of their new manager.
The Liverpool players have now returned to action with Arne Slot welcoming the players back at the training ground for the start of their pre-season efforts.
However, the Dutchman will not be welcoming any new faces on Merseyside just yet with the Reds yet to sign any players this summer.
But it seems as if the 45-year-old may now have identified a player who he would like to add to his squad for the upcoming campaign.

Although the Reds have not bought or sold any players this summer, they have still seen some noteworthy exits as free agents.
Perhaps the biggest loss is centre-back Joel Matip who departed the club on the back of an eight-year stay.
Although the 32-year-old did not feature heavily, his departure will mark a significant loss at the back for Liverpool.
But it seems as if there are already plans to strengthen Slot’s defensive options over the coming weeks.
According to Mirko Di Natale, Liverpool are now showing an interest in the Juventus centre-back Gleison Bremer.
However, the Reds are not alone in their interest of the Brazilian defender this summer with a number of Premier League clubs credited.
Chelsea and Manchester United are also believed to be keen with Bayern Munich making up the interest from the continent.
But there may a major sticking point in any potential deal this summer with Juventus expected to only listen to offers in excess of €70m (£59m).
Gleison Bremer hailed as Serie A’s best defender
Liverpool will already be confident in their defence given they have arguably the best centre-back in the league with Virgil van Dijk.
However, they could land themselves a statement signing if they were to invest with a player like Bremer.
Having played 36 times in Serie A last season, Bremer received big praise from Juventus legend Sergio Brio.
“I really like Bremer. He’s an exceptional player with great timing and positioning on the pitch,” he told the Italian media.
“The Brazilian is the best defender in Serie A today. I’m certain of it.”
This is not a deal which will come easy for any side this summer with Juventus not looking to sell and only willing to listen to huge offers on the 27-year-old.
