The 2024/25 Premier League season is set to get under way on Friday 16 August, and the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool will be gunning for the title once again.
The Citizens held off a spirited challenge by the Gunners and the Reds to claim their fourth Premier League title in a row last season.
Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool are all expected to be in the running for the title once again, while other contenders could emerge.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa have all strengthened their ranks over the summer, and will be keen on challenging last season’s top big three.
With just days to go until the season starts, many will be sharing their opinions on who they think will finish top of the table come next May.
Sam Allardyce has now given his verdict on who he thinks will win the title this coming season.

Allardyce backs Arsenal to win Premier League title
Allardyce, speaking on No Tippy Tappy Football, has backed Arsenal to break a title drought that goes back 20 years.
The Gunners last won the title in 2004, as Arsene Wenger’s Invincibles went the whole Premier League season unbeaten.
Arsenal have challenged for the title the last two seasons in a row, but fell just short against a ruthlessly consistent City side.
However, Allardyce reckons 2025 will be the year that Arsenal will be champions again.
“I just think that it’s four on the trot, never been done before,” began Allardyce.
“I think that they have got so much more pressure on them every time it goes on to make it five now, and the effort it needs to put into that.
“Of course, if they have sold Alvarez and they don’t replace him, I just think that’s a bit of a blow for Man City.
“I also think Arsenal have been growing in the last two, three seasons and they came very close last year, but the year before they should have won it and they blew.
“They blew the title. I think this time the squad has got better, more additions to the squad and so will bring Man City close.
“And that’s why I have just picked Arsenal over Man City.”
Unpredictable Premier League season on the cards
Man City are set to remain favourites for the title, considering they have so much class and, crucially, experience in what is a very difficult and nerve-wracking endeavour.
However, Arsenal have been snapping at their heels and, after two seasons of heartbreak, they will have the mix of experience and a desire to finally put things right.
With regards to Liverpool and Chelsea, both have new managers at the helm, and this could potentially be a season of transition for both.
Man United will be one to watch, as Erik ten Hag now has a bit more experience at the helm of the club, not to mention having made some shrewd signings.
