Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, currently on a season-long loan with Turkish Süper Lig giants Galatasaray, is not in discussions with Manchester United over a potential move to the English Premier League, Soccernet.ng reports.
Earlier reports linked the Nigerian forward to a Premier League move, with Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly competing for his signature.
However, Nigerian broadcast journalist Buchi Laba, who is close to the situation, has dismissed these speculations, reiterating that the former LOSC Lille star is not in talks with the Red Devils.
Napoli’s January Plans
Reports circulating in local and international media suggest that Napoli have given the green light for a January move for Osimhen. However, the striker has made it clear that he is not planning to leave Galatasaray until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, GiveMeSport reports that Manchester United are exploring a Serie A return for their current striker, Rasmus Højlund, who has impressed this season with seven goals in 20 matches.

The Danish forward, who joined United from Atalanta last season, is seen as a stronger swap deal option for Osimhen compared to Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee, whose performances have been below expectations.
Osimhen Splits with Roberto Calenda
Buchi Laba also revealed that Osimhen has parted ways with his former agent, Roberto Calenda. The Napoli-owned striker is now represented solely by his lawyer, whose identity is expected to be disclosed soon.
Osimhen’s split with Calenda follows the fallout from failed transfer moves during the 2024 summer window. The disagreements between Napoli, himself and Calenda reportedly left Osimhen dissatisfied, which prompted the change in representation.
Focused on Galatasaray
Despite the ongoing rumours linking him to clubs like Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United, Osimhen has remained committed to Galatasaray.
The Nigerian forward has been in excellent form, scoring 12 goals and providing five assists in 15 appearances in the Turkish Süper Lig.
Osimhen has reiterated his intention to see out his loan spell with Galatasaray, maintaining focus on his current responsibilities.
Any decisions about his future will now be handled directly by him and his legal counsel, which ensures transparency.
