£16.8m player who Arsenal have scouted has admited that he likes the Gunners 'a lot'
Interesting...
Arsenal bided their time in the summer transfer window but made three top-level additions.
The Gunners added Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and Raheem Sterling to Mikel Arteta’s ranks, though, they did miss out on a number of other targets.
Those targets could reemerge in the January window and with that said, a player who they scouted has now hinted that he’s an Arsenal fan in a recent interview…

Giron’s Arnau Martinez says he likes Arsenal a lot
Arsenal have scouted Girona’s Arnau Martinez previously.
The 21-year-old right-back, who reportedly has a £16.8m release clause, has also attracted interest from Manchester City, so evidently he’s a player with tremendous potential.
Now, in a recent interview, Martinez has just admitted that he really likes Arsenal ahead of their clash against Arteta’s men in the Champions League.
“Yes, I like Arsenal a lot and, in addition, they have a similar style to ours,” the Spaniard told Mundo Deportivo.
“They are a great team and receiving them at Montilivi with the Champions League anthem will be very special.
“We know that last year we had a historic season for the club, but this year is another season, and it could turn out better or worse, depending on how the team is doing. I think we don’t have to compare and, as the word says, it’s past.”
Arsenal should prioritise attacking reinforcements in Janaury
Instead of reigniting interest in Martinez, Arsenal should prioritise attacking reinforcements during the winter transfer window.
A specialist number nine should be top of their shortlist, with Viktor Gyokeres the obvious target after his prolific record for Sporting.
Perhaps they should consider signing a back-up to Martin Odegaard, too, as they don’t have brilliant depth in his role.
