'Absolutely Awful' - David Edgar left raging after what happened in Rangers v Hearts

David Edgar was left fuming with the awful performance from Rangers in the second half against Hearts at Ibrox on Sunday.

Gers took an early lead through Cryiel Dessers and that proved to be enough as they won the game 1-0 on 10 November.

However, they struggled to get over the line after a drab second-half display but somehow managed to get over the line.

Via X, Edgar, the Heart and Hand podcast host wrote: “Feels like a goal is coming. Rangers absolutely awful second half.”

Rangers far from impressive but get the three points v Hearts

Even though Gers managed to pick up the win and three points, the performance, particularly in the second half, was far from convincing.

The initial goal by Dessers provided the necessary lead, but the team’s inability to maintain dominance or extend their lead exposed significant issues.

A side in good form should not merely cling to a narrow victory against a team like Hearts but they should be looking to assert control and win by a wider margin, showcasing both offensive flair and defensive solidity.

Clement now has a clear task ahead during the international break to work on the team’s consistency as this was far from impressive.

Improving the squad’s ability to dominate games from start to finish will be crucial for Rangers to meet the expectations of their supporters and compete effectively in all competitions.
