Michael Stewart was left wowed by Nedim Bajrami after he scored an equaliser in the Rangers defeat against Aberdeen on Wednesday 30 October.
The Gers fell to a 2-1 loss at Pittodrie which has seen them drop nine points behind the Dons in the Scottish Premiership table, piling pressure on Philippe Clement.
In a night of negativity, there was one silver lining as the Albania international got on the scoresheet in the second half with a strike which left Stewart impressed on BBC Sportscene (30 October).
He said: “This is the sort of thing you’re looking for from these type of players, Bajrami, Lawrence, Cerny. Big games, big moments that really turn the game on its head.
“It’s an absolute top-class goal, you’re saying to yourself that Aberdeen are set up well defensively, Devlin is tight, Rubezic is coming over, Shinnie is coming to support as well but an absolutely top-class goal from Bajrami, it just doesn’t happen often enough.”

The 25-year-old showed why the Gers splashed out on him during the summer with a flash of brilliance to get his side back on level terms.
With that being said, it is frustrating for supporters that they haven’t seen more of the same from the versatile forward since coming in at Ibrox.
This strike was his first of the season in the Scottish Premiership for the Light Blues despite registering five appearances before the trip to Pittodrie.
The ex-Sassuolo man’s performance wasn’t especially great other than his goal which only adds to the frustration around the club.
Fans can be hopeful that a goal against the Dons will be enough to spur the Albanian on to register more goal involvements moving forward.
There is a general lack of positivity around Ibrox right now given how far the Gers have slipped behind their Old Firm rivals in the table.
At least they have a silver lining to take away from the defeat with Bajrami’s goal standing out for all the right reasons.
