Barcelona defender Jules Kounde is excited by the prospect of taking on Spain in the Euro 2024 semi finals.
La Roja stormed into the final four with a 2-1 extra time win over hosts Germany as France beat Portugal on penalties.
A showdown between two of Europe’s superpowers will decide one of the finalists on July 14 and Kounde will play a key role for France.
Kounde has been ever present for France, continuing in his Barcelona right back role for his country, and he is in line for a huge challenge against Spain.
He will come face to face with Nico Williams, who could potentially be his clubmate next season, and he is ready for what the Athletic Club winger will throw at him.

France are expected to stick with a largely unchanged starting line up against Spain with Kounde continuing as part of the same back four for the 2022 World Cup finalists.
