Bids Ready: Alisson's stance on quitting Liverpool revealed

Alisson Becker is happy at Liverpool despite the imminent arrival of Giorgi Mamardashvili, sources have told Football Insider.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (14 October) that Liverpool are set to field interest in the goalkeeper, 32, next summer.

Saudi Pro League sides enquired about his availability in the most recent summer window and it is believed top European clubs will join them in the hunt for his signature in 2025 – with a host of bids expected to be readied.

Sources say Liverpool chiefs will have “a decision to make” on his long-term future next summer with Giorgi Mamardashvili arriving on Merseyside in a pre-agreed deal.

But Alisson remains content at Anfield and wants to stay well into the twilight years of his career.

Football Insider has revealed (7 October) that the shot-stopper’s injury record is becoming “concerning” to the Liverpool medical team – and could be the driving force behind a potential exit.

Alisson keen to stay at Liverpool despite Mamardashvili arrival

The Brazil international is out injured yet again after hurting his hamstring in the win over Crystal Palace earlier this month and is set to be out of action until after the November international break.

He has missed 40 games for the Reds during the past five seasons, more than any other goalkeeper in the league.

Alisson’s contract at Anfield runs until June 2027 after penning his most recent extension in 2021.
