West Ham United have been especially busy on the transfer front in recent days, and some more signings could soon be on the cards.
The Hammers already have Luis Guilherme, Wes Foderingham and Max Kilman through the door, while Crysencio Summerville is reportedly on the brink of joining too.
West Ham also appear to be making good progress for Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Argentina midfielder – and free agent – Guido Rodriguez.
Now, Sky Sport Germany journalist Patrick Berger has just shared a major update involving another player the Hammers have reportedly been in talks over.

West Ham make Niclas Fullkrug breakthrough
The player in question is Niclas Fullkrug and, according to Berger, West Ham have reached agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the forward.
Berger has gone on to say that the Hammers “will accept” the Bundesliga side’s counter-offer of £22.1million plus £3.4million in bonuses.
The deal is in its final stages, and now it’s just a case of completing the details regarding the additional payments, added the reporter.
“Breaking: Agreement between Borussia Dortmund and West Ham United on a permanent transfer of Niclas Fullkrug,” Berger wrote on X.
“The deal will go through according to exclusive Sky information.
The Hammers will accept Borussia Dortmund’s counter offer. €26m+4 bonuses. It’s just a matter of details regarding the additional payments.
“BVB is already looking for alternatives to Füllkrug and has had initial loose discussions.”
Sky Sports colleague Florian Plettenberg also posted about the Fullkrug to West Ham deal, adding further detail about the player’s expected salary and how negotiations panned out.
West Ham closing in on signing of ‘big man’
West Ham are in need of bolstering their attacking ranks and ease the goalscoring burden on Michail Antonio.
Fullkrug, who Stan Collymore has described as a “British type centre-forward”, would certainly be a good shout for the Hammers.
Collymore noted how “West Ham have generally been more successful when they have a big man there”.
Now, it looks as though the Hammers are over the line in terms of club-side and player-side talks.
