Bukayo Saka now reacts after hearing news coming out of Arsenal yesterday

Arsenal’s ‘star boy’ Bukayo Saka is prepping for the new season and he’s been giving his response to some major news coming from The Emirates.

Saka has had an extended break thanks to the Euros but is due to return the London Colney and get ready for the new season.

Of course, Saka will be coming back to an Arsenal squad that is already shaping up to be different for 2024/25,

The Gunners have made a new signing in the form of Riccardo Calafiori and could even make another signing in Mikel Merino before the weekend is out.

Further, Eddie Nketiah is being pursued by Marseille, while Arsenal also confirmed yesterday that Emile Smith Rowe had joined Fulham in a deal worth more than £30m.

And it is that news about Smith Rowe that seems to have caught Saka’s eye over on social media.

Bukayo Saka sends message to Emile Smith Rowe after he left Arsenal

As we all know, Saka and Smith Rowe have become synonymous with Arsenal in recent seasons and the duo were a big part of Mikel Arteta initially getting some success.

Both were members of the Hale End Academy progressing into the first-team ranks and both ended up representing England as well.

And over on Instagram, Saka has sent his well-wishes to Smith Rowe after seeing his good pal had made the move to Fulham.

Saka is not the only one to wish Smith Rowe well, as both William Saliba and Declan Rice posted messages of support to him as well yesterday.

Could Arsenal replace Emile Smith Rowe?

The potential signing of Mikel Merino is not really a direct replacement for Smith Rowe so it remains to be seen whether the Gunners move into the market.

In an ideal world, Mikel Arteta would indeed get a replacement in.

However, there is a buzz about Ethan Nwaneri this summer and there could well be a chance here for the teenager to step up and replace Smith Rowe.

Saka, of course, will simply go about his business whoever is in the squad.

And as usual, his message here shows the class and respect he has for his teammates.
