After 18 months worth of speculation, it may finally be time for Ivan Toney to get his move away from Brentford.
The England international has been strongly linked with a move away from west London for a long time now, and as we enter the final week of this summer transfer window, he could be about to leave.
Toney has recently been linked with Tottenham. In fact, Tottenham still have a chance of signing Toney after getting Dominic Solanke.
Speaking to the BBC, Thomas Frank has now been discussing Toney’s future, and he’s said that a deal could be done by Friday, with numerous clubs potentially coming in for the £30m striker.

Ivan Toney could leave before deadline day
Frank spoke about his striker.
“Is he going?” Frank was asked about Toney.
“Good question. I don’t know, we will know by Friday. We will know something on Friday, everything could be done by Friday, it could be all different clubs that are coming in for Ivan, so let’s see,” Frank said.
Ivan Toney would be a great option for Tottenham
Ivan Toney would be a fantastic option for Tottenham if they’re still looking for a striker late in the day.
The centre-forward is a proven source of goals at Premier League level, and a move to Spurs would allow him the chance to play European football this season.
Of course, the presence of Dominic Solanke at Tottenham does complicate things, but Saudi Arabian clubs are sniffing around Richarlison, a space could still open up in this Tottenham team.
Whether or not Tottenham are one of the teams that come in for Toney remains to be seen, but there’s going to be some movement on this front before the weekend by the sounds of things.
Toney is going to be a player to keep a serious eye on before the transfer deadline.
