Rangers and Philippe Clement agreed on a new contract at Ibrox which has been welcomed by Heart and Hand’s David Edgar.
Gers announced on Friday morning, 2 August, that the Belgian had put pen to paper on a new deal until 2028.
This comes amid fears that Clement was walking away after not getting what he was promised when he took over the reins last season. [Kris Boyd]
Edgar wrote on X: “Puts to bed any rumours of him not wanting to be here. It’s easy to do in summer though, test for board will be if the waters get choppy.”
Rangers show long-term faith in Philippe Clement with new contract
