Everton agree £20m-a-year behind-the-scenes deal - Paul Joyce

Everton have agreed a new long-term partnership with Castore, according to Paul Joyce.

The Times reporter wrote on X on Friday (14 June) that the Toffees’ new long-term partnership with Castore is worth in excess of £20million-a-year.

As per The Telegraph (14 June), this is a club-record kit deal for Everton.

It is worth at least double the value of the club’s four-season partnership with Hummel, which came to an end at the end of the 2023/24 campaign and was thought to be worth £10million-a-year.

This is huge news for the Toffees.

The club are in desperate need of some financial relief and this will bring a much-needed boost at Goodison Park.

The timing of this club-record agreement couldn’t be better. Not only will it help raise some cash at the debt-ridden club, but it will only increase the appeal of the Toffees to potential new owners.

Farhad Moshiri is desperately looking to sell his 94 per cent majority stake in the club, and this recent agreement will serve as an added incentive for whoever takes over at Goodison Park.

After all the troubles of last season, it looks as if there could soon be some light at the end of the tunnel for Everton.

This long-term partnership with Castore is the perfect way for the club to kick off the summer, and supporters will now be hoping that a takeover resolution is next on the agenda.
