Everton have submitted a deal sheet to sign Armando Broja on loan from Chelsea, according to David Ornstein.
The Athletic journalist reported [30 August] that the loan deal will include a £30million buy option after the striker’s move to Ipswich Town collapsed.
It is understood that the Tractor Boys refused to accept Chelsea’s terms in light of the 22-year-old’s time set to spend on the sidelines due to a new injury.

Few fans at Goodison Park were expecting any more deals to go through once the transfer window closed, and this signing is likely to be greeted with a mixed reaction.
While Broja is an exciting talent up front, Sean Dyche will be without him for the first few weeks, having failed his medical at Portman Road due to a fresh injury.
He is a fully-fledged international for Albania but has struggled to break into the first team at Stamford Bridge, spending the second half of last season on loan with Fulham.
With only eight appearances for the Cottagers, he failed to make the desired impact before returning to Chelsea, and that is why many eyebrows will be raised after the transfer window closed.
However, goals are still a concern for the Toffees heading into the 2024/25 campaign, having scored none and conceded seven in their opening two matches against Brighton and Tottenham.
Exit-linked Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Beto are still leading the line for Dyche, but with Neal Maupay’s move to Marseille confirmed, a spot opened up and Broja now looks set to take it.
Calvert-Lewin was Everton’s main goal threat last term, even despite only notching seven league goals, so Dyche needed to bring in another attacker before the transfer window slammed shut until January.
While the 22-year-old is set to be unavailable for the first few weeks, there is every chance that Broja will be able to find his feet at his new club and begin to fire on all cylinders for the first time since his Southampton loan deal in the 2021/22 campaign.
In other Everton news, one PL club were under pressure to offload a player before the 11pm deadline as the Toffees eyed a deal.
