Arsenal are drawing up plans for the Janaury transfer window.

Arsenal have endured a really tough start to the Premier League season and are being cut adrift from the title race already.

The Gunners are already nine points off league leaders Liverpool heading into the congested festive period, so there’s evidenlty a need to bring in further reinforcements this winter.

Mikel Arteta’s men have lacked a specialist number nine this term and with that said, TBR Football can now reveal that they’re eyeing one on a potential loan deal.

Arsenal scout Randal Kolo Muani

TBR Football understands that Arsenal and Manchester City both watched Randal Kolo Muani during the recent international window.

Kolo Muani started for France in the games with Israel and Italy. Indeed he has started more for his country than club this season.

Paris Saint-Germain have made it clear to Kolo Muani’s advisors that they will not stand in his way in January and as it stands he is not part of Luis Enrique’s plans.

PSG would ideally like to sell, but they realise that is highly unlikely that anyone would put together a deal for a player who cost around £65milllion little over 12 months ago.

Arsenal interested in short-term deal for Kolo Muani

The Parisian giants are open to short term deal, which is believed to appeal to both Arsenal and City – who both liked Kolo Muani before he moved to the French capital.

Juventus and Atletico Madrid are understood to be amongst those showing an interest.

Kolo-Muani for his part has publicly insisted that he is ready to fight for his place under Enrique and said whilst on French duty: “How can I convince Luis Enrique to start me? I have to work harder and make an impression when he calls on me.

“I know he is happy with his squad and I am part of it and it is up to me to give my all so that he trusts me.”
