Very interesting...????
- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
After narrowly avoiding relegation in the previous two campaigns, Nottingham Forest are now showing signs of an established Premier League side.
Forest have made a positive start to the new season having only conceded defeat on one occasion from their opening seven games.
They reside in 10th and supporters are hoping for a season where they’re out of the relegation dogfight and instead looking up.
With that said, after their promising performances, club chiefs are ready to open contract talks with one man.
Nottingham Forest ready to open contract talks with Nuno Espirito Santo
TBR Football understands that Nottingham Forest are prepared to open talks with Nuno Espirito Santo in the coming months.
Forest are delighted with how their squad is shaping up but also how Nuno is handling them.
The squad is understood to be very happy with life under the Portuguese head coach, who has won over the fanbase after he replaced the very popular Steve Cooper last season.
Nuno penned a two-and-half-year deal when he joined last December.

Nottingham Forest should back Nuno Espirito Santo with a striker in January
To further emphasise their trust in Nuno, Forest should allocate him funds to sign a striker this Janaury transfer window.
The former Wolves boss wanted to bring in a number nine over the summer but moves for Santiago Gimenez and Eddie Nketiah failed to materialise.
Perhaps they should target Callum Wilson to provide support for Chris Wood, as he could be made available by Newcastle.
