Wolves are starting to find their feet in the Premier League this season.
After ten games without a win, the Old Gold have now secured two Premier League wins in a row after Gary O’Neil steered Wolves to a 2-0 victory over Southampton, and then a comprehensive 4-1 win against Fulham.
The back-to-back wins have left Wolves 17th in the Premier League.

With momentum building, the January transfer window offers Wolves a chance to kick on by making some reinforcements, although it is also imperative that the Old Gold keeps their best players, such as Matheus Cunha and Rayan Ait-Nouri.
Now – on that note – TBR Football have learned what Wolves are telling Gary O’Neil ahead of the January transfer window.
Wolves inform Gary O’Neil his star players will be kept
Despite a tough start to the 2024/25 campaign, Wolves boast some top players – who are catching the eye of England’s leading clubs.
TBR Football understand Manchester United and Tottenham are monitoring Cunha – who cost Wolves £43m – after his fine start to the season, netting seven goals while also providing three assists in 12 Premier League outings.
Napoli are also watching the Brazil international, with the Italian giants – and Newcastle too – sending scouts to Craven Cottage to watch him score twice against Fulham on Saturday.
The aforementioned Ait-Nouri is also attracting attention, with Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham scouting him consistently across the past 12 months.
However, sources are now informing TBR Football that Wolves insist no key men will be sold in the January transfer window, with those at Molineux committed to giving O’Neil the best possible chance of avoiding relegation.
Wolves are aware of interest in Cunha – who Aston Villa are monitoring too – but they insist no sales will happen in January.
What Wolves are planning to do themselves
Wolves are not only focused on fending others away from their star players this winter, but Fosun also have plans to bolster the squad for O’Neil.
TBR Football understand Wolves are looking to sign at least one new central defender in January, after leaving themselves short in that department last summer through the sale of Max Kilman to West Ham.
Yerson Mosquera also suffered an injury which will sideline him for the rest of the 2024/25 campaign, so a new face in that area is certainly needed.
TBR Football have previously reported that Wolves could sign Eric Dier – after the England international fell out of favour under Vincent Kompany at Bayern Munich.
Sources also inform TBR Football that Wolves like Christopher Wooh of Rennes – so it would seem the Old Gold already have some names drawn up on a shortlist.
