'Fantastic' - Wenham wants Tottenham sign Crystal Palace ace who'll be almost-guaranteed success

John Wenham claims Eberechi Eze would be an “exciting” addition to Tottenham.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose believes the Crystal Palace star would improve Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

As previously reported by The Sun (8 July), Tottenham are willing to trigger Eze’s £60million release clause.

And Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has suggested that this would be a worthwhile investment for Daniel Levy and the club.

“Palace will quite rightly be standing firm and saying that if anyone wants to sign Eze then they must pay his release clause,” Wenham said.

“Having lost Michael Olise already it will be release clause or nothing.

“Eze is a really exciting player who would instantly improve Tottenham. He ticks every box and I think it would be a fantastic signing.

“He is someone who you could almost guarantee would be a success.”

Every supporter wants their club to make a marquee signing during the transfer window.
