Rangers make wise move by hiring Sean Jefferson
The Ibrox outfit have made a wise move, leveraging his extensive experience from high-profile commercial roles at Manchester United and Diageo.
His tenure at United, where he significantly contributed to a 22.2 per cent increase in commercial revenue, highlights his capability to enhance sponsorship deals and partnerships, which is crucial for Gers, especially amidst their recent financial situation.
Jefferson’s background in managing relationships with global partners and his role in developing an innovative partnerships model at United can bring a fresh, dynamic approach to the Ibrox outfit’s commercial plans.
His departure from Old Trafford to explore new challenges suggests he is motivated and ready to implement similar success in Glasgow.
Additionally, his familiarity with high-pressure environments and his ability to adapt to new challenges will be invaluable as the 55-time Scottish champions navigate the transition period following Virani’s departure.
His proven track record in commercial growth makes him an excellent fit to drive their financial ambitions forward.
In other Rangers news, Nils Koppen is now being forced to enter the loan market to sign a Liverpool-born striker in January.
