Rangers defender Neraysho Kasanwirjo should be in line to start in the game against Aberdeen on 30 October, according to Four Lads Had a Dream.
Gers took on St Mirren on 27 October and the 22-year-old, who is a centre-back by trade, started ahead of James Tavernier.
Four Lads’ Stevie Clifford was impressed with his pace and defensive ability and that his presence at the back ensured the entire side moved up and attacked more on Sunday afternoon.
He wrote on X: “Kasanwirjo is fast, likes a duel, looks comfortable with both feet & has played well so far
“Reason Rangers had a better last 30mins is because he moved to CB & rest of the team moved up
“Question isn’t who plays, (for me), but why wouldn’t Nana start.
“Long term, Get Sterling at RB & you have some of the pace, energy & power we have been lacking.”
Neraysho Kasanwirjo must be given a run of games for Rangers to prove his worth
Kasanwirjo’s recent performances for Gers suggest he merits an extended run in the first team.
His attributes, such as pace, comfort on the ball with both feet and a willingness to engage in defensive duels, have notably contributed to the team’s dynamic during games.
The 22-year-old’s deployment against St Mirren not only showcased his individual skills but also had a tactical ripple effect, allowing Rangers to push higher up the pitch with greater confidence.
This adjustment indicates that the Dutchman’s inclusion could be pivotal in fostering a more aggressive and fluid playing style for Rangers.
Given his background and recent showings, starting him consistently could solidify the backline while simultaneously providing the team with a platform to build from the back more effectively.
This could be crucial in upcoming matches, potentially unlocking a new level of performance from the squad.
