John Wenham expects Tyrese Hall and Alfie Dorrington to make their full Tottenham debuts in the UEFA Europa League.

The owner of the reputable Spurs podcast Lilywhite Rose believes both players are likely to receive “significant minutes” in the competition.

Tottenham have won their opening two games in the Europa League this season, beating Qarabağ at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (26 September), before winning 2-1 against Ferencváros at the Groupama Arena (3 October).

Therefore, Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – feels as though Ange Postecolgou now has the freedom to introduce some young players in the coming matches.

“Now that we have won our first couple of matches, I think some young players will come into consideration,” Wenham said.

“I expect that players such as Dorrington and Hall could play significant minutes in the competition.

“They might even get full games just by being in the right place at the right time. Therefore, that is something to look forward to as well.”

Tyrese Hall and Alfie Dorrington set for full Tottenham debuts in the UEFA Europa League?

Postecoglou recently handed full debuts to Mikey Moore and Will Lankshear in the competition.

Therefore, with Spurs in a comfortable place in the Europa League table, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see some of their other talented youngsters handed debuts.

And Hall and Dorrington are likely both near the front of any queue for that opportunity, with the latter recently travelling with Spurs to Hungary.

Should the North London club find themselves qualified with a couple of matches to spare, Postecoglou could even decide to name a team full of youngsters and academy prospects.

As a result, there looks set to be plenty of opportunities, which will encourage the Under-21s and Under-18s to raise their games, which some have certainly been doing.

In other Tottenham news, one player on loan from the club has been told to bide his time after recent frustration.
