Chelsea have really pushed on this season.
The Blues look better than they have for a long time under Enzo Maresca, and they currently sit third in the Premier League.

Cole Palmer has received all of the plaudits this season, but Chelsea are far from being a one-man team.
Indeed, Chelsea’s other attackers have been on form this season too.
Nicolas Jackson has improved a lot this season, while Noni Madueke has really stepped up for club and country.
Speaking on The Game Football Podcast, Gregor Robertson has been discussing the impact Madueke has had this season, and he says that the £30m attacker has proven him wrong with his performances this term.

Noni Madueke has proven people wrong
Robertson admitted that he misjudged Madueke before this season.
The pundit says that Madueke has been a serious difference-maker this term, claiming that while he questioned his end product last year, he’s now really stepped up on that front.
“Noni Madueke. I think just in every single moment that he’s been either introduced or in on his start as well, he’s just made an impact. Immediate impact, pretty profound impact, just because often he’s been a point of difference just with his directness, his willingness to just take on a full back or run in behind,” Robertson said.
“And I think he’s just having an outstanding season as well. I have to admit, I think I got him slightly wrong.
“I think last season I questioned his end product. Still, I still think he can improve and he will improve with that, but I think he’s having an outstanding season”
Noni Madueke stats this season
Robertson says that Madueke is having an outstanding season, and he’s not wrong.
The winger has really stepped things up this term, not only does he have four goals in 10 league games, he’s also impressing when he isn’t finding the net.
Noni Madueke stats this season Games 10 Goals 4 Dribbles per game 3.1 Shots per game 1.6 Key passes per game 1
Of course, there’s still room for Madueke to improve his finishing and his final ball, but he’s making things happen and getting in the right positions.
There’s a reason this Chelsea team are one of the top scorers in the Premier League this season, and it’s because of the incredible array of attacking talent on show at Stamford Bridge.
If Chelsea can just get their defence in order, they could be genuine challengers before too long.
Robert Sanchez has been criticised for his performances this season, so a goalkeeping upgrade could be a priority, while Ian Wright says Chelsea also need a new centre-back.
Madueke and the rest of his Chelsea teammates have improved this season, and there’s reason to be excited about the future at Stamford Bridge.
