Bryan King claims Amadou Onana is likely to leave Everton this summer.
The ex-Goodison scout feels that the Toffees would be wise to accept any offers for their midfielder.
As reported by Mundo Deportivo (23 June, page 3), United have offered lucrative personal terms to Onana, as well as a £50.7million bid to Everton, which includes an up-front fee of £46.4million plus add-ons.
In addition, it was reported by Foot Mercato (27 June) that PSG have also expressed an interest in the Belgian.
And King – speaking exclusively to Goodison News – has suggested Onana’s time at the club might be up.
“I think he has done well at the Euros thus far,” King said.
“To be honest, I think he would be classed as more of a United player than an Everton player. I also think he is good enough to play for PSG.
“I think a move would be best for all parties involved. Everton would receive a large amount of money which would help them.
“Therefore, it sounds like something could happen on that front.”
Where will Everton ace Amadou Onana end up come September?
It seems inevitable that the Toffees will need to make a big-money sale this summer.
With the club starting to sign players despite their financial troubles it appears as if money will need to be raised somehow.
Onana is one of the club’s most valuable assets and he could therefore be the man who is moved on.
He has been one of Belgium’s standout performers in Germany, which could help increase his value.
As a result, now might be the right time for the club to cash in on him as they look to restore some balance ahead of next season.
