King moots Harry Kane return at Tottenham in 2025 as transfer 'Sign' emerges

Harry Kane could make a spectacular Tottenham return next summer, two years after he left.

Kane finally said goodbye to his boyhood club in the summer of 2023 to join German giants Bayern Munich as part of a £100million transfer [via Sky Sports News, 13 August 2023] and recently admitted that he would like one of his former teammates to join him.

Should that transfer wish come true, it would be a huge boost for one young player in North London.

However, instead of Kane luring one of his former teammates to Germany, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has suggested the striker might instead return to N17.

“I think the next step is to bring Kane back,” King said.

“Let him finish his career at Tottenham. It looks as though he might win something with Bayern Munich this season, which could be a sign for him to return to England.

“That partnership between Son Heung-min and Kane could have helped Spurs challenge for the Premier League, had they built around it. However, the club instead sold Kane, and they haven’t replaced him with anyone of that quality.”

Tottenham to re-sign Harry Kane from Bayern Munich?

Daniel Levy is certainly making enough money in North London to finance a deal which would see Kane make a spectacular return to his former club.

Therefore, if there is any encouragement that a potential deal could be agreed, Spurs must act.

While it might seem illogical for Bayern to let Kane go, they could find themselves in a difficult position next summer, when the 31-year-old will only have one year left on his deal.

It is the same position Spurs found themselves in when Kane left the club to join Bayern. Therefore, if the Bundesliga giants don’t want to offer a player who will be 32 at that point an expensive new contract, Spurs could swoop.

And considering the connection he has to the club, there is every chance Kane would be happy to finish his career in North London.
