King speculates whether Tottenham could re-sign Harry Kane in fresh transfer verdict

Bryan King has suggested that Tottenham should try and re-sign Harry Kane from Bayern Munich.

The ex-Spurs scout believes bringing the club’s record goalscorer back to North London would provide a massive lift ahead of next season.

Kane left his boyhood club last summer to join German giants Bayern Munich as part of a £100million transfer (via Sky Sports News, 13 August).

And King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has suggested that Daniel Levy should attempt to re-sign the striker before it is too late.

“Would Kane come back? He hasn’t got many more years left in his career,” King said.

“He has about three or four years left in him at the highest level.

“That would be the deal that would lift the whole football club.”

Could Ange Postecoglou lure Harry Kane back to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium?

It would be difficult to find a Spurs supporter who wouldn’t welcome Kane back to the club with open arms.

He is arguably Spurs’ best-ever player and his return would therefore be game-changing.

While a return to the club this summer might perhaps be far-fetched, it isn’t inconceivable to think that Kane might play for Tottenham again before he retires.

There is no doubt a lot of love between the player and the club. As a result, Kane could be tempted by the prospect of an emotional homecoming.

As for Postecoglou, it would be a fantastic boost for the Australian.

Re-signing Kane would transform the Tottenham team and perhaps push them toward title contender status.

Whether or not this dream transfer ever comes to fruition remains to be seen.

However, as long as Kane is still around, Spurs fans will likely keep dreaming.
