Leeds United fans love Largie Ramazani already after he was hugely complimentary of the supporters and the atmosphere at Elland Road.

The forward was signed from Spanish outfit Almeria on 22 August and was in attendance as his new side beat Hull City 2-0 at home, where he was blown away by the fans.

In an interview with BBC Sport, the new arrival revealed: “I’ll tell you one thing, I got goosebumps when they scored the first goal. When Mateo scored. I was like ‘This is crazy.’

“I was just imagining, if I come on and I do score, it would probably go crazy. Obviously, it didn’t happen, but that was a great feeling. It was just so loud.”

Creating a strong and intimidating atmosphere for the opposition has always been a source of pride for Leeds fans, and Ramazani seems to get it already.

A close connection between the players and the fans has also played a huge part in Leeds’ history, never more so in recent history than with Marcelo Bielsa’s team.

That team which achieved promotion from the Championship had reignited the spark at Elland Road, and a strong connection with the current team may provide a boost to their chances this time around.

While he is still in the early days of his career at Leeds, Ramazani is already taking steps towards reaching that connection, and the fans love him already.

After the departure of Crysencio Summerville in the summer, Leeds targeted a new wide option to add pace and directness to Daniel Farke’s squad.

The signing of Ramazani should add those qualities, but off the pitch, he is already making his mark and impressing supporters with his personality.

Taking to social media in response to the interview, fans insisted “he gets it already” while they were full of praise and love for their new man.
