Liverpool have been absolutely incredible this season.
The Reds are top of the Champions League and top of the Premier League as things stand, and, there’s very little that needs to change at Anfield.

Liverpool need to renew three of their key players’ contracts, while a new defensive midfield player could also be useful as Liverpool court Martin Zubimendi.
There is one change that Liverpool have in mind heading into next season.
Indeed, Giorgi Mamardashvili is set to arrive next summer after a £35m deal was agreed with Valencia in the last transfer window.
Mamardashvili has a lot of potential, but there’s a case to make that Liverpool should now change their stance on the Georgian.
Liverpool should sell Giorgi Mamardashvili
Liverpool have two of the very best goalkeepers in the Premier League already in the shape of Alisson Backer and Caoimhin Kelleher.
Alisson is the best goalkeeper in the world in the eyes of many, and, remarkably, Kelleher may not be too far behind.
Indeed, Kelleher’s performances this season have been up there with the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, and against Real Madrid on Wednesday, he showed just how incredible he is when saving Kylian Mbappe’s penalty.
Liverpool’s plan was to sell Kelleher in the summer, but now, the Irishman has proven that he’s worthy of being Alisson’s long-term replacement instead of Mamardashvili.
Of course, selling a player you’ve just bought after a loan spell is an unconventional piece of business, but it’s not unprecedented.
Juventus did exactly this with Cristian Romero, letting him leave for Atalanta before he played a single game for Juve, while Newcastle did he same with Yankuba Minteh in the summer.
In fact, Liverpool have done this before. Taiwo Awoniyi was sold by the club despite not playing a single game for the Reds after loan spells away from Anfield.
Sometimes, a player can drop down the pecking order before they’ve even played a game for their new club, and that may be the case with Mamardashvili here.
Kelleher’s incredible showings may leave Mamardashvili surplus to requirements at Liverpool already, and they may even be able to sell him for a profit considering the current market.
Which clubs could sign Giorgi Mamardashvili?
Liverpool would be in a strong position if they decided to sell Mamardashvili in the summer.
Indeed, we’re heading into a period in which a number of top clubs will be looking for a new goalkeeper.
Robert Sanchez has been criticised for his performances at Chelsea this season, so the Blues may soon be looking for a new goalkeeper.
Meanwhile, Manuel Neuer isn’t getting any younger at Bayern Munich, so the German giants may be looking for a new stopper soon.
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s injury has also left Barcelona in a sticky situation, so they may also be in the market for a new goalkeeper.
It’s certainly a seller’s market in terms of goalkeepers at the moment, and with three top-class goalies on their books, Liverpool need to get rid one of their glovesmen.
Alisson is still world-class, Kelleher is proving his ability every single week, and, sadly, that may mean that Mamardashvili could be on the chopping block before he’s even had a chance to establish himself.
With so many big spenders potentially looking for a goalkeeper next summer, Liverpool may be wise to sell Mamardashvili and turn a quick profit while keeping Alisson and Kelleher as their two top goalkeeping options.
