Kevin De Bruyne is expected to leave Man City soon, and Saudi Arabia could be an option for him.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, former Tottenham goalkeeper and Saudi Arabia regular Paul Robinson stated that the 33-year-old creative midfielder “will go at some point.”
De Bruyne has played four times in the Premier League throughout this campaign but has missed the past three fixtures due to a hamstring injury.
Kevin De Bruyne is expected to leave Man City in the future
“There is a changing of the guard every now and then at clubs, whether it all happens at once, whether it all happens sporadically,” Robinson told Football Insider.
“Kevin De Bruyne will go at some point, and probably soon.
“I work a lot in the Saudi Pro League, and I see that league growing, it’s not going away.
“The youngsters that are coming into that league, there’s maybe not as much money being spent but the quality of players in a younger age.
“That league is always going to be there and for the likes of Kevin de Bruyne and Mo Salah who have had those decorated glittering careers there’s always going to be that opportunity for them to go there.
“Their futures aren’t decided for them, they’re the type of players who decide.
“They go and when their environments change around them and they’ll know right they’ll know when it’s the right time.”
